גלאי תנועה ונוכחות הם רכיבים חכמים המיועדים בעיקר לשליטה אוטומטית בתאורה ולחיסכון בחשמל.
המערכת מדליקה את האורות באופן אוטומטי כאשר מזוהה תנועה במרחב ומכבה אותם לאחר פרק זמן קצוב שבו החדר נשאר ריק.
הם מספקים פתרון מצוין למשרדים, חדרי ישיבות, מחסנים וחללים ציבוריים.
ההבדל בין גלאי תנועה לגלאי נוכחות
גלאי תנועה (Motion Detector): מיועד לזהות תנועות גסות (כמו הליכה בחדר או כניסה לחלל). הוא מצוין למסדרונות או אזורים שבהם אנשים בעיקר עוברים. ברגע שהתנועה נפסקת, האורות יכבו.
גלאי נוכחות (Presence Detector): רגיש משמעותית, ומסוגל לזהות אפילו תנועות קטנות ומיקרו-תנועות (כמו הקלדה במקלדת או ישיבה מול מחשב). זהו הפתרון האידיאלי למשרדים או כיתות לימוד, כדי למנוע כיבוי של האור בזמן שאדם יושב בשקט.
